Joe Nix

Joe Nix was born in Perry County, Tennessee on October 12, 1924 the son of the late John Armor and Berdie Baugus Nix.On May 25, 1946 he married Beatrice Charlene Frazier who preceded him in death in 1994.During his life Mr. Nix was a machinist for South Bend Lay for several years, owner/dealer of Exxon, and a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Church of God.Mr. Nix departed this life friday, November 30, 2007 at the age of 83 years, 10 month, 18 days.He is survived by a daughter: Kay Franks and her husband Haley of Savannah, Tennessee: 2 sons: Ronnie Nix of Savannah, Tennessee, Randy Nix and his wife Katherine of Lexington, Tennessee; 1 brother: Nathan Temple of Waukegan, Illinois, Nancy Irvin of Fort Worth, Texas: 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Inez Nix and a granddaughter Nicole Marie Naccaratto.
