Joe Holcomb Lewis

Joe Holcomb Lewis was born June 3, 1934 in Benton County, Mississippi the son of the late Joe Dexter and Maggie McRee Rooker Lewis. He was united in marriage to Ann Cannon on June 26, 1957.Mr. Lewis was a self-employed heating and air conditioning technician for 35 years. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God, National Rifle Association, Tennessee Sheriffs' Association, served his country in the United States Army, and an avid gun collector.Mr. Lewis departed this life on April 18, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 10 Months, 15 Days. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann Cannon Lewis of Selmer, Tennessee; son, Phillip Lewis of Ramer, Tennessee; granddaughter, Ashley Lewis of Selmer, Tennessee; two great granddaughters, Veronica Ann Lewis and Shelby Jarrett both of Selmer, Tennessee; great grandson, Dale Jarrett of Selmer, Tennessee; sister, Dot Bonner of South Carolina; three brothers, Chester Lewis of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Frankie Lewis of Memphis, Tennessee, and Gean Lewis of Holly Springs, Mississippi.In addition to his parents, Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
