Henderson, TN: Joe Neal Farley age 66 passed away November 8, 2012 at his home in Henderson.He was born and reared at Rose Creek in McNairy County, the son of the late Freeman Clark and Lana Bell Mosier Farley (Jean Farley). He dropped out of high school and entered the U.S. Army at 17. He served two tours in Vietnam and served at the 38th Parallel and the Burlin Wall in Germany. He returned to the states and served in the TN National Guard for a total of service of 30 years. Joe was involved in alcohol anonymous and served as a district officer and spoke at state and local levels. Joe was a real leader in his family. He was a Baptist in belief.He is survived by companion, Theresa Veronica Ramos Murley; two daughters, Laura Gauger of Henderson and Theresa Dye and husband Jeff of Bethel Springs; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a sister, Billie Jean Pickett of Henderson and two brothers, David “Butch†Farley and wife Sandra and Freeman ‘Tony’ Farley all of Henderson and five nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mitchell Farley and Tommy Farley.A special thanks from the family to Dr. Jim Carruth for his help.
