Joe Earl Cagle departed this life on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 24 days. He was born in Mississippi County, Arkansas on May 10, 1944, the son of the late Ernest D. and Helen L. Hampton Cagle.
Joe had worked for Brown Shoe Company for 20 years and was a truck driver for Ryder Truck Line for 30 years. He was a member of the Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville, Tennessee and the Savannah Lodge F&AM. Joe enjoyed fishing, four-wheelers, going to car shows, and taking care of his grandchildren. He was the former pastor of two churches, Browns Pentecostal Church and Center Hill Holiness Church, both in Henderson County, Tennessee.
He is survived by his children, Regetta Thomas Pollock and her husband, Andy of Huron, Tennessee, Tim Cagle and his wife, Elaine of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Trent, Latisha, and Tesla; step grandchildren, Patrick, Joshua, and Mindy; great grandchildren, Kevin, Skiler, and Maddison; step great grandchildren, Pi and Rivers; brothers, Danny Cagle of Jackson, Tennessee and Gerald Cagle of Regan, Tennessee; sisters, Judy Plunk of Parsons, Tennessee, Cathy Attaway of Regan, Tennessee, Paulette Franks and Janice Cagle both of Savannah, Tennessee; companion and mother of his children, Faye Cagle of Enville, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Hargrove Cagle; brother, Dennis Cagle; grandchildren, Kyle and Zachary Cagle.
