Joe Eldridge Byram departed this life on Monday, November 19, 2012, at the age of 67 years, 9 months, 2 days.
Joe was born in Dennis, Mississippi on February 17, 1945, the son of the late Claude Everette and Georgia Owens Byram. On March 9, 1963, he was united in marriage to Juanita (Nita) Davis, who survives.
Joe was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard from 1962-1971; he went on to work for KT Distributors, Inc. in Union City, Tennessee for 25 years. He worked in Kitchen Design and Sales, and later retired from the company. He spent 37 years in Union City, Tennessee before moving to Hardin County. Joe loved to spend time with his family, friends and grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors, working in his gardens and fishing. He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida and attended Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Juanita (Nita) Davis Byram of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee; children, Tony Byram and wife Brooke of Nashville, Tennessee, Mendy Parmer and husband Chip of Ashford, Alabama; Mark Byram of Spring Hill, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kirby Byram, Kyle Byram, Jacob Parmer, Mark Byram, Maddy Byram, Miles Byram, Joleigh Parmer, Marina Byram,Max Byram and Stacey Gomes; great grandchild, Effi Fern Dorning; sister, Dorlene Willoughby of Savannah, Tennessee; special lifetime friends, Richard Arnold of Union City, Tennessee, Charlie Bone of Union City, Tennessee, Jimmy and Linda Byrd of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Claudette Thomas and Jetta Harrison.
