Joe Blackstock

Joe Blackstock departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the age of 73 years and 2 months.He was born in Chester County, Tennessee on March 17, 1940, the son of the late William Albert and Clara Harwell Blackstock. On December 7, 1994, he was united in marriage to Jean White-Hanna, who survives.Joe was an engineer for Ingram Barge Company, Phillips 66, BCW Builders, and farmed before retiring. He had lived in Milledgeville and Savannah, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Jean Blackstock of Enville, Tennessee; brother, Fred Blackstock of Pensacola, Florida; sisters, Carolyn Garrard of Parsons, Tennessee and Metha Bingham of Henderson, Tennessee; nephew, Charlie Wilkerson of Savannah, Tennessee; great nephew, Kyle Wilkerson of Shelbyville, Tennessee; great niece, Leah Wilkerson of Savannah, Tennessee and great great niece, Savannah Grace Wilkerson of Shelbyville, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Joe Blackstock.
