JoAnn Martin
was born in Illinois on November 25, 1941 the daughter of the late Charlie Jones and Hazel Abbott Kerrigan.
On September 1, 1967 she was united in marriage to Homer Wilkerson Martin, Jr., who preceded his wife in death on July 15, 2021.
JoAnn worked for 15 years at the Washington, Illinois school system as a cafeteria worker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee. In her spare time JoAnn enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She departed this life on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 26 days.
JoAnn is survived by her sister, Shirley Bandeko of East Peoria, Illinois; nephews, David Bandeko and Daniel Bandeko, both of Illinois; niece, Dianna McGrew of Maryland; and a special friend, Logan Brasher of Milledgeville, Georgia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Entile and one niece, Linda Davis.
