JoAnn Miller Jones was born February 24, 1950 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Levi Miller and Sarah Foster Miller.
She was united in marriage to Gary Jones on August 25, 1970.
Mrs. Jones worked in the electronic department at Wal-Mart in Selmer, Tennessee. In previous years, she had worked at Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville and U.S. Apparel. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Jones was salutatorian of her high school class and attended the University of Memphis. She enjoyed going to yard sales, consigment store shopping, gardening, quilting and sewing.
Mrs. Jones departed this life on December 9, 2011 at her home in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 9 Months, 14 Days. She is survived by her husband Gary Jones of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Tara (Jones) Sweat and husband Jerry; two brothers, Richard Lee Miller, Jamie Miller; a grandson, Jeremy Hunter Sweat; host of extended family and friends.
