Joan E. Stewart

Mrs. Joan E. Stewart, age 69 of Bolivar, passed away Sunday, January 15 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.Mrs. Stewart was born in Buffalo, NY April 11, 1942 to the late Jack and Agness Greenwood Coe. She married Arthur T. Stewart, Jr., who survives, August 20, 1967. A native of New York, she lived in Sacramento, CA for over 20 years and lived the past 19 years in Bolivar. She attended the Bolivar First United Pentecostal Church.In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Amy Burgres of West Falls, NY; three grandchildren, Thomas Sparr and wife Courtney of Ft. Bliss, TX, John Sparr and wife Katie of Decatur, IL, and Arthur R. Stewart, Jr. and wife Selena of Hardeman County; and three great-grandchildren, Lillie Sparr, Lucas Stewart and Adrian Stewart.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Ann Womack and a son, Arthur Ray Stewart.Memorials may be sent to the First United Pentecostal Church of Bolivar.
