Jo Fielder

Jo "MamaJo" Hinton Fielder was born January 7, 1922 in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Dolly Smith Hinton.She was united in marriage to Hubert Fielder who preceded her in death in 1973.Mrs. Fielder was a homemaker. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She also loved cats and cooked every day.Mrs. Fielder departed this life on June 15, 2006 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of Age 84 Years, 5 Months, 8 Days.She is survived by a daughter, Kay Alexander and husband George of Savannah, Tennessee.Sisters, Pauline Higgins, Callie Qualls and Betty Sue Battles all of Savannah, Tennessee.Brother, Otis Hinton of Savannah, Tennessee.Grandchildren, Christopher Alexander of Lexington, Tennessee, Gregory Alexander of Jackson, Tennessee and Wendy McCarter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.Great grandchildren, Eli Alexander, Paul Alexander, Kerr Alexander, Sophie Alexander and Georgia Anne McCarter.In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Fielder was preceded in death by two sisters, Aleen Adkisson and Hester Lee Scott, three brothers, Arthur William Hinton, Burnice Hinton, Billy Guy Hinton and a half-sister, Elise Clement.
