Jo Alice Casey

Henderson, TN: Jo Alice Wamble Casey, age 72, passed away March 20, 2009 at her home.She was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Edward and Lyda Bea Frye Wamble. She graduated Chester County High School in 1954 and attended University of Tennessee at Martin. She was married to Tommy Casey in 1955. Jo Alice had made her home in Henderson all of her life. She had worked as a dental assistant at Dr. Casey Carrington for several years.She had worked in retail sales at Goldsmith’s in Jackson and Jerry’s Sportswear in Henderson, during these years she also worked as a receptionist at Casey Funeral Home in Henderson.For several years she was the Volunteer Respite Coordinator at Southwest Human Resource Agency.She was a member of the First Untied Methodist Church where she took an active part and had taught in the youth Sunday School Programs and served on many committees in the church.She is survived by a son, Craig Casey and wife Tami of Henderson; two daughters, Beth Casey Macyauski and husband Mike of Fisherville and Ann Casey of Cordova; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Wamble in 2001.
