Jo Ann Rodgers

Jo Ann Rodgers was born in Childers Hill, Tennessee community on December 2, 1940 the daughter of the late Hobert Hays and Ruby George Hindman.

On June 12, 1965 she was united in marriage to Jimmy Rodgers, who survives.

Jo Ann was a homemaker and retired after 16 years from Aqua Glass. She loved to go shopping, traveling, and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandkids, which she was fondly known as "Granny Jo".
Jo Ann was of the Church of Christ faith.

She departed this life on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 81 years and 8 months.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Jimmy of Jackson, Tennessee formerly of Shiloh, Tennessee, Jo Ann is survived by her children, Jana Rodgers (Mark) of Humboldt, Tennessee and Richie Rogers (Tanya) of Summerville, South Carolina; and grandchildren, Luke Rodgers and Aubree Rodgers.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Ruby Hindman; sister, Glenda Sue Churchwell; and brother, James Hindman.
