Jimmy Earl Robinson was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 27, 1948 the son of the late Robert Earl and Frances Eldene Reynolds Robinson.
Jimmy served his country proudly in the United States Navy from November 1967 until September 1971. Jimmy worked along beside his father at Robinson's Logging as a truck driver. He was a member of F & A Masons, Savannah Lodge, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Pickwick Shrine Club, Al Menah Shriners, and joined at the age of 10 years old Campground Methodist Church.
In his spare time he loved playing guitar, fiddle, banjo, and piano. He played music and traveled with Wayne Jerrolds for 60 years. While in the nursing home he enjoyed playing music and singing for everyone.
Jimmy departed this life on Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 29 days.
He is survived by his children, Chasity McWhirter, Jaime Reaves, and Kala Traylor; sister, Freeda Robinson Ashe; and grandchildren, Anna Frances McWhirter, Cecilia McWhirter, Maggie Traylor, Tressa Traylor, Emma Traylor, Dylan Crabb, Drake Crabb, and Jemma Reaves.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by one brother, Gerry Robinson.
