Jimmy T. Qualls was born in Steele, Missouri on May 19, 1952, the son of the late William Henry and Mary Ellen Vincent Qualls. On November 24, 1970, he was united in marriage to Patricia Lynn Cook, who preceded him in death on June 1, 2016. Jimmy departed this life on July 19, 2019, at the age of 67 years and 2 months.
Jimmy worked as a truck driver for Milan Express in Jackson, Tennessee. He loved music and playing his guitar.
Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Paula Shew and husband Daniel of Chicago, Illinois, Linda Devenney and husband William of Orland Park, Illinois, Charlotte Qualls of Hobart, Illinois, and Patricia Johnson and husband Darrell of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Robert Qualls of Savannah, Tennessee, Nathan Qualls of Hobart, Indiana, Wyatt Qualls of Crawfordsville, Tennessee, and Jerry Qualls of Crawfordsville, Tennessee; sisters, Portia Qualls and Lisa Qualls, both of Chicago, Illinois and Annie Sparks and Judy Salgado, both of Savannah, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, of 45 years and his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Louis Qualls.
