Jimmy Pulse, 65, of Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of Middleton, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Bakersfield Heart Hospital.
The husband of Dianne Brewer Pulse, who survives, he was a policeman for nine years, a truck driver and pastor at Calvary Tabernacle for 2 ½ years. Mr. Pulse was born August 23, 1941 in Middleton, son of the late Jim Carl Pulse and Birdie Mae Dickerson Pulse. He lived in Middleton until 2004 when he made his home in Bakersfield.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Deana and Jackie Sain of Bolivar and Carla Pulse and Peter Vasquez of St. Pete Beach, Fla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Nikki Pulse of Olive Branch; two sisters, Sue Mills of Walnut and Carol Ann Walls of Kentucky; three brothers, Sidney Pulse of Memphis, Don Pulse of Bolivar, Steve Pulse of Middleton; and three grandchildren, Will and Jon Sain and Emily Pulse.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Pipkin Pulse, who died February 10, 1993, and three brothers, Buck, Mack and Joe Ramer Pulse.
