Jimmy Lusk, Sr.
was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on January 22, 1943 the son of the late Linnie Mark and Elnora Ball Lusk.
Mr. Lusk worked for Schefenacker as a machinist before retiring. In addition to living in Selmer, he had lived in Flint, Michigan where he worked for General Motors and Nashville, Tennessee as a correctional officer. Mr. Lusk was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Selmer. He enjoyed sports of all kinds. He liked to have fun with everyone telling jokes, he was the life of his family.
Mr. Lusk departed this life on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the age of 65 years, 5 months, 28 days.
Mr. Lusk is survived by his wife: Norma Jean Luska; a daughter: Shelia Lusk and her husband Jesse of Savannah, Tennessee; a son: Jimmy Lusk, Jr. and his wife Pam of Clifton, Tennessee; five sisters: Jewel D. Hudson of Flint, Michigan, Virginia Williams of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Mary N. Hudson, Ina Garrett, Ann Prather all of Selmer, Tennessee; a brother: William C. Lusk and his wife Terri of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; four grandchildren: Shamiya Dale, Shada Dale, Shelby Lusk, and Carmen Lusk; one great-grandchild: Malia Stewart; an aunt: Minthy Ball of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and a host of nieces and nephews, loving relations, and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lusk was preceded in death by a sister: Louise Stewart; five brothers: Lee Lusk, Joe Lusk, Cecil Lusk, Milton Lusk, and Linnie Lusk.
