Jimmy R. Crow

Jimmy R. Crow was born April 8, 1931 in Chester County, TN the son of the late John and Lula Messer Crow.
He was united in marriage to Marie Phillips on April 23, 1953.
Mr. Crow was a retired truck driver for Miller Transporters in Memphis. He was a United States Army veteran, having served his country as a Combat Engineer in Korea. When he was younger, Mr. Crow enjoyed squirrel and deer hunting.
Mr. Crow departed this life on January 21, 2013 in Southaven, Mississippi at the age of 81 Years, 9 Months, 13 Days. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marie (Phillips) Crow of Nesbit, MS; three sons: Sidney R. Crow and wife Merry of Cordova, TN, Keith A. Crow and wife Kristy and Jeffrey D. Crow and wife Angie, all of Hernando, MS; a daughter, Sharlene Annette Horn and husband Glen of Pensacola, FL; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Cora Crow of Finger, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Crow was preceded in death by three brothers: Raymond Crow, Harold Crow, and Doulan Crow; two step-brothers, Junior Tidwell and Willie Tidwell; two sisters, Ruby Pierson and Rexie Crow; a step-sister, Della Tidwell; and a half-sister, Birdie Tidwell.
He was united in marriage to Marie Phillips on April 23, 1953.
