Jimmie Elijah Shepard

Jimmie Elijah Shepard was born November 30, 1931 in Dublin, Georgia the son of the late Dessie Elijah and Lois Veal Shepard.He was united in marriage to Brenda Browning on May 7, 1965.Mr. Shepard was a veteran of the United States Army, having proudly served during the Korean War. He worked in Civil Service as an equipment specialist at the Defense Industrial Plant Equipment Center in Memphis, Tennessee.Mr. Shepard departed this life on March 1, 2010 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 3 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda (Browning) Shepard of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Diane Bailey of Jacksonville, FL; a son, Billy Shepard of Dallas, GA; a sister, Frances Tomlinson of Gray, GA; a sister-in-law Jackie Shepard of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren: Crystal, Joni, Stormi, David, Ray, Eli, and April; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Mr. Shepard was preceded in death by a brother, James Willard 'T' Shepard.
