Jimmie William Harville was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 23, 1921, the son of Elmer and Sinnie Murphy Harville. On October 30, 1943, he was united in marriage to the former Ruie Brown who survives.
Mr. Harville served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II then worked as an auto diesel mechanic for West Orange Concrete in Winter Garden, Florida for thirty-eight years. He was Baptist in belief.
Jimmie Harville departed this life on October 20, 2005 while a patient in Hardin County Nursing Home at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 28 days. Other than his wife, he leaves one daughter, Debbie Drake of Paisley, Florida; four sons, Bobby Harville of Decatur, Alabama, Billy Harville of Paisley, Florida, Darrell Harville and Ricky Harville, both of Olive Hill, Tennessee; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Lou Jean Ziegler of Tullahoma, Tennessee and four brothers, Henry Harville of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Doris Harville of Kalamazoo, Michigan, J. C. Harville of Olive Hill, Tennessee and Onie Ray Harville of Massey, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Thomas and Odell Harville, one sister, Lena Harville and a grandson, Keith Harville.
