Jim Dave Keeton

Services for Jim Dave (JD) Keeton, 75, Florence, AL, formerly of Cypress Inn, TN will be Sunday, January 14, 2007 at 1 pm at Cypress Oak Grove Church, Pumping Station Road, Iron City, TN with Alfred Strait and Gene Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. Bearers will be grandsons. Visitation will begin at 6 pm on Sat, January 13, 2007 at the church. Mr. Keeton died at the home of his son, Jimmy, on Friday, January 12, 2007.



A native of Wayne County, TN, Mr. Keeton was a retired sawmill worker. He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Cora Martin Keeton, son, Larry Keeton, brothers, Lowell and Tom Keeton, and special companion, Willie Ann Scott.



Survivors, sons, Jimmy (Linda) Keeton, David Keeton, sisters, Ruth (Joe) Hollander, all of Florence, Bessie Todd, brother, Lewis Keeton both of Cypress Inn, fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.



He was a loving father, step-father, and pawpaw JD to many. Special thanks to Dr. John Scarborough, Mid South Home Health, and Hospice of the Shoals.
