Jewell Wayne Shearon

Jewell Wayne "Buddy" Shearon, 74, of Hickory Valley, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widower of Jo Dorris Shearon, who died July 17, 2000 after 38 years of marriage, he was a farmer, home builder and carpenter and had worked for a time at Dover Elevators. Mr. Shearon was born June 7, 1932 in Hardeman County, son of the late Andrew Jackson Shearon and Dolsha Irene Hensley Shearon and lived here all of his life. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and attended Grand Junction Methodist and Hickory Valley Baptist Churches.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Edna and Jimmy Williams of Memphis; two grandchildren, Whitney and James Williams, both of Memphis and two sisters, Estelle Vaughan of Grand Junction and Dorothy “Dot†Finley of Memphis.
