JEWELL WILLIAMS MITCHELL
Was born in Milledgeville, Tennessee on May 29, 1918 the daughter of the late Eddie and Madgie Jarrett Minton.
On July 2, 1940 she was united in marriage to J. T. Williams, who preceded his wife in death on February 6, 1963. On May 4, 1974 she was married to Gordon Mitchell, who preceded her in death on April 23, 1997.
Mrs. Mitchell was a retired factory worker. She was a member of Milledgeville Church of Christ.
Mrs. Mitchell departed this life on November 28, 2005 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 30 days.
She is survived by 2 sons, Robert Williams of Sardis, Tennessee and James A. Williams of Enville, Tennessee.
One grandson, Bobby Williams and one great-grandson, Shane Williams.
Mrs. Mitchell was also preceded in death by one sister, Mae Downing and 3 brothers, Lonnie Minton, Dean Minton and Eugene Minton.
