JEWELL ARMOUR FERGUSON
Henderson: Jewell Irene Armour Ferguson, age 88, died January 28, 2009 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born and reared in the Woodville Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Robert Lafayette and Nannie Riley Armour. She attended school at Woodville and in 1952 was married to Ronald Lee Ferguson. They made their home in the Woodville Community. Mr. Ferguson died in 1977 and she made her home in Henderson since that time. She was a member of the Pinson Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Ronnie Ferguson and wife Lesa of Henderson; two grandchildren, Joshua Ferguson and Laura Rowland and one great grandchild, Hannah Lesa Rowland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Ferguson in 1977, three brothers, Laurence Armour, Homer Armour and Cecil Armour and three sisters, Elmer Terry, Graple Kirk and Nellie Sills Ayers.
