Was born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi on January 21, 1920 the daughter of the late Isaac and Eugenia Gray.
On September 6, 1941 she was united in marriage to Troy Lee Davis, who preceded his wife in death on January 13, 2001.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. She was Pentecostal in belief.
She departed this life on October 20, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 29 days.
Mrs. Davis is survived by 2 daughters, Jean Mayhall of Counce, Tennessee and Dean Lee of Savannah, Georgia.
3 sons, David Davis and Johnny Davis, both of Counce, Tennessee and Troy Lee Davis, Jr. of Bartlett, Tennessee.
8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren
One sister, Dovie McGregor of Memphis, Tennessee.
Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
