Jewell Maxine Ellis Clayton (Granny Jewell) Coker was born October 10, 1928 in Bethel Springs, TN the daughter of the late William (Bill) Ellis and Jessie Humphrey Ellis. She departed this life on March 9, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 4 Months, 27 Days.
Mrs. Coker retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was very meticulous in all aspects of her life. She loved gospel music, especially the Gaither Vocal Band. Talking on the phone was a favorite pastime. She knew what to put in there without even measuring.
