Jewell R. Carper

Jewell R. Reed Carper was born September 20, 1916 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ambus and Ellen Leatherwood Reed.She was united in marriage to the late Clovis Carper who passed away on November 17, 1965.She was a factory worker and a homemaker.Mrs. Carper departed this life on October 8, 2007 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 91 Years, 18 Days.She is survived by three daughters, Maggie Dickey and husband Kenneth of Ramer, TN, Margie Norwood and husband Jerry of Ramer, TN, Dorothy Hastings and companion Charles of Corinth, MS; a son, Bobby Carper and companion Particia Poole of Chewalla, TN; a sister, Bernece Bulter of Chewalla, TN; four grandchildren, Rebbecca, Eric and Todd Norwood, Trina Doles and husband Chris; three great grandchildren, Krissy Doles and Tess Doles, Johnathan Blake Norwood.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Carper was preceded in death by three sisters, Clarice Reed, Druscilla York, Izola Foust; four brothers, Gene Reed, Malcom Reed, Audie Reed and Vernon Reed.
