Mama Dean, as she was known by everyone, spent all her life in Hardin County living in the Cerro Gordo Community on Centerview Road. Her favorite pass time hobby was gardening, canning, and quilting. She enjoyed family gatherings with her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids. Mama Dean enjoyed the company and visits of friends and family. She loved her flowers and I know that she would have loved all the beautiful flowers here today. And she would always say "She loved everybody".
She is survived by daughters, Brenda Kate Copeland Benson (Billy) and Rena Walker (James) both of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, James Kenneth Copeland (Linda Frazier) and Travis Copeland (Elizabeth) both of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Martha Ann Southern of Savannah, Tennessee; 13 grandkids; 28 great grandkids, and 8 great great grandkids.
In addition to her parents, Jewelene was preceded in death by her husband James Parker Copeland; sister, Joe Kate Copeland; brothers, James, Edwin, Millard, and Frank, Jr.; grandchild, Ken Copeland; and 2 great grandchildren.
