Funeral services for Jewel Melson Stricklin, age 78, of Waynesboro, TN will be on Friday January 12, 2007 3:00 pm Cromwell Crossroads Church , Collinwood,TN with Steven Turnbow and Johnny E. Burns officiating. Interment following in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Thursday January 11, 2007 from 5:30 pm until service time @ Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood



Jewel Melson Stricklin a native of Wayne County, TN died on Wednesday January 10, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital, Columbia. She was born on March 31, 1928 to the late Jay and Pearl Burns Melson. Mrs. Stricklin was preceded in death by her husband; Billy; sons; Bobby and Larry Stricklin ; daughter; Lisa Stricklin and brother; Jessie J. Melson.



Mrs. Jewel was a homemaker and member of the Fortyeight Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
