Jewel Sinquefieldwas born in Ripley, Mississippi on August 10, 1916 the daughter of the late Valley Grace Dixon.Ms. Sinquefield was employed with First National Bank of Savannah, Tennessee as a teller for 20 years before retiring and was a dedicated citizen. She loved to sew and crochet, and she loved being a grandmother. She was a member of the First Methodist Church for 60 years, and served as church secretary and Sunday school teacher. Ms. Sinquefield departed this life on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the age of 92 years, 9 months, 20 days.Ms. Sinquefield is survived by a son, Jere Sinquefield of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a sister, Betty Sue Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, Ben Blake, Chase Sinquefield, Jess Sinquefield, Lacy Sinquefield, and Lauren Sinquefield; 5 great-grandchildren, Mary Jan Blake, Benjamin Blake, J. Paul Sinquefield, Jewel Sinquefield, and Lila Belle Sinquefield.In addition to her mother, Ms. Sinquefield was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Murle Sinquefield on March 10, 2002; a daughter, Jan Blake; a sister, Juanita Peterson; a brother, David Dixon.
