Jewel Dean Pearce

Services for Jewel Dean Swinea Pearce, age 77. of Waynesboro, TN will the Eleven a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Shackelford Chapel in Waynesboro with Cary Crews officiating. Interment will follow in White Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.



Mrs. Pearce was born in Wyler, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Lonnie and Mable White Swinea. She died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Pearce; brothers, Steven Joseph Swinea, William L. Swinea, Jr., and Samuel E. Swinea; sister, Mary Emogene Cook. She owned and operated a hotel and was a member of Wayne Furnace church of Christ.



She is survived by sons, Dennis Pearce and Terry Lee Pearce both of Waynesboro, TN and Elmer (Earnie) Pearce of Lake Forest, CA; daughter, Norma Jean Piazza of Vicksburg, MS;

6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
