Jessie Grantham

She was born and reared in Chester County, Cash School House Community, the daughter of the late James Riley and Roeaney Addeline Fields Spencer. She attended school at Cash School House and in 1938 was married to Robert Walter (R.W.) Young. They lived in the Roby and Cabo Communities. She worked at Snells Brace and Limb, a prosthesis mfg. from 1964 until she retired in 1980. She was married to Al Grantham in 1972 and they

made their home in Memphis for several years until they moved to Henderson. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church.



She is survived by her husband Alfred Edward Grantham of Henderson; a son Bobby Young (Betty) of McKenzie; a daughter Paulette Jones of Memphis; three step sons Eddie Grantham, Robert Grantham and Kenneth Grantham and three step daughters Judy Yocum, Barbara Grantham and Becky Young; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother Delmar Spencer of Elkhart, IN and three sisters Tinnie Pusser of Henderson, Ester Sharpe of Avon Park, FL and Irene Carter of Henderson.
