Jessica Wendy Sanders was born August 1, 1997 in Fairfield, CA the daughter of Johnny and Jeannie Sanders.
From her first breath, she was considered a miracle baby. Her family and doctors quickly learned that Jessica was a fighter and throughout her fourteen years she fought. She never complained about her circumstances; instead, she chose to shine.
Jessica was a little farm girl who loved getting dirty with her four brothers, riding horses with her dad at her side, and playing with animals. She planted flowers with her Mammaw Sanders and looked forward to her visits with her Gram in Arizona. Jessica also had a "girlie" side; she was a collector of purses and shoes, and she loved playing dress up with makeup and getting her hair and nails done. She was an independent young lady who enjoyed singing and dancing, was a nurturer, and always had a smile to share with others.
Jessica was a 9th grade student at McNairy Central High School and was a member of the Bethel Springs Church of God in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Her sweet spirit could fill a room with love and laughter; she was a walking testimony of God's love for His children. If ever there was an angel here on earth, it was Jessica Wendy Sanders.
Jessica departed this life on February 1, 2012 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 14 Years, 6 Months. She is survived by her devoted and loving parents, Johnny and Jeannie Sanders of Bethel Springs, TN; four brothers whom she called "My Boys," Justin Sanders of Bethel Springs, TN, John Sanders and fiance Shelby of Savannah, TN, Jesse Sanders and fiance Savannah of Bethel Springs, TN, and Joey Sanders of Bethel Springs, TN; paternal grandparents John and Louise Sanders of Bethel Springs, TN; maternal grandmother Nora Musgrove of Sierra Vista, AZ; maternal grandfather Robert Boozer of Hibbin, MN; a niece, Katie Lynn Sanders; and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Samantha Louise Alice Sanders.
