Jesse James Farris

JESSE JAMES FARRIS, SR.was born in Tishomingo, Mississippi on August 4, 1938 the son of the late Charley and Arie Lee Burge Farris.Mr. Farris was a retired Chief Engineer for Crounse Corporation. He was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Farris was a member of Steel Workers Union and an active member of St. Mark Baptist Church.He departed this life on September 7, 2008 in Olive Branch, Mississippi at the age of 70 years, 1 month and 3 days.Mr. Farris is survived by 2 daughters, Cheryln A. Farris of Paducah, Kentucky and Rosena L. Farris of Olive Branch, Mississippi.4 sons, Jesse J. Farris, Jr. of Dade City, Florida, W. Charles Farris, Sr. of Paducah, Kentucky, Kurt L. Farris of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Percy P. Farris of Savannah, Tennesseea host of granchildren and great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Mary Harris of Savannah, Tennessee, Myra Tall of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Pearl Goodlow of Savannah, Tennessee and Claudine Irons of Savannah, Tennessee, 4 brothers, Lynn E. Siner of Florence, Alabama, Henry W. Siner of Selmer, Tennessee, Billy J. Farris of Copperas Cove, Texas and Charles W. Farris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a special friend, Shelia Lusk of Savannah, Tennessee, and his former wife, Mahala Gloria Dean Davis of Paducah, Kentucky. Mr. Farris was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Dorothy L. Cherry and Caroline J. Siner and 3 brothers, Robert E. Siner, Arthur L. Farris and Roy M. Siner.
