Jerusha Lou Mullins Rawlings of Selmer, Tennessee, was born on May 8, 1919, in Chattanooga, the daughter of the late William Charly and Stella Viola Riddle Mullins. She married Clarence Adair Rawlings on September 20, 1951. Mr. Rawlings preceded her in death on February 4, 1985.Mrs. Rawlings, or (J. Lou) as she was fondly called, was a homemaker and a member and former Sunday School teacher at Court Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Selmer. She was a Pink Lady volunteer at McNairy Regional Hospital.Mrs. Rawlings died on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer at the age of 87 Years, 10 Months, and 19 Days.Survivors are her daughter Patricia Penn of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; her son Randy Rawlings and wife Carol of Selmer; 3 grandchildren, William Penn, Emily Rawlings, and Lisa Redmon; 3 great-grandchildren, Jacob Penn, Jennings Penn, and John Paul Penn; a sister, Kathryn McQueen of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; 3 brothers, Sherril Mullins, Erskine Mullins, and Edward Mullins, all of Chattanooga. A host of other relatives and friends.
