Jerry L. Staggs

Jerry L. Staggs was born October 7, 1941 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Clarence Dale and Linda Marie Mathis Staggs. Mr. Staggs was a machinist and a member of the Mt. Hope Methodist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.He departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 3 Months, 21 Days.He is survived by two daughters, Denise Jones and Gayla Taylor and husband, Paul all of Waynesboro, TN; grandhildren, Natasha Moser and husband, Jason of Waynesboro, TN and Lindsay Creasy and husband, Johnathon of Collinwood, TN; great-grandchildren, Raven, John Allen, and James Ross Moser.In addition to his parents, Mr. Staggs was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Dale Staggs.A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 1 pm at the Whitehead Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Marvin Champion officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Friday, January 30, 2009 from 8 am until noon at the funeral home.
