Jerry O'Neil "Fruitjar" Robinson, 58, of Bolivar, died Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Born September 19, 1946 in McNairy County, son of Ruth
Robinson of Bolivar and the late James Ward Robinson, he lived in
Hardeman County most of his life. Mr. Robinson served in the TN
National Guard for 22 years as a Sergeant and later worked with
the State of Tennessee and Western Mental Health Institute. He
was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.
Services were 11 AM Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at
Shackelford's Bolivar Chapel with Duane Moore and David Cooper
officiating. Burial was in Woodville Cemetery near Bethel Springs.
In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Tim Robinson
of Bolivar and Lee Robinson of Henderson; one daughter, Cindy
Robinson of Bolivar; two sisters, Pat Qualls of Memphis and Phyllis
Davidson of Sevierville, TN; one brother, Donald Robinson of
Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Elaina, Brea, Austin and Matthew Robinson; and his fiance, her son and her grandson,
Betty, Tony and Michael Miles.
