JERRY (BUDDY) RICKMAN
was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on January 10, 1941 the son of the late Joseph Joe-Bob and Maudie Pearl Evans Rickman.
On July 27, 1981 he was united in marriage to Joann DeShazier.
Mr. Rickman worked as a shop supervisor for Jones Motor Company. He also had worked for Ralph Barker painting tractors and he owned his own automobile painting business. Mr. Rickman was a member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church. Buddy, as he was known by everyone, loved the river, boating and hunting arrowheads. He was very particular about his yard and he grew yellow marigolds.
Mr. Rickman departed this life on March 17, 2016 at his residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 7 days.
He is survived by his wife Joann, with whom he spent the last 40 years of his life, his children, Shane Glenn Rickman, Rocky Dale Rickman, Ricky Rickman, Mickey Rickman and Shelia DeShazier, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Rickman and Bobby Rickman and two sisters, Avery Sanders and Jo Miller.
