Jerry Wayne Keymon
was born on October 9, 1949 in Lavinia, Tennessee the son of the late Charlie D. and Ruby Hobbs Keymon.
On October 16, 1971 he was united in marriage to Vivian Y. Briley, who survives.
Jerry served his country proudly in the United States Army. He served a tour in Vietnam and received several medals, one including The Bronze Star for Valor. Jerry was a retired independent agent for American Republic Insurance. He was a member of Nixon First Pentecostal Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Jerry was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved God, his family and his church family and was humble, always placing others above himself. Jerry was an excellent gardener, sharing the bounty with the area churches and community.
He departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 17 days.
In addition to his loving wife of 54 years, Vivian, he is survived by his children, Kendall Keymon and his wife Amy, and Meranda McCurdy and her husband Kevin; grandchildren, Jordan Keymon (Alexis), Madison Russell (Riley), Matthew Brown, Bailey Brown (Rosie), and Hailey Morgan (Matthew); great grandchildren, Riverlyn Anne, Maybrie, Neyland, Bryson, and Gunner; sister, Juanita Keymon; and brother, Danny Keymon.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ruby Keymon; sisters, Charelene Keymon, Nancy Hardin, and Regenia Lee; and brothers, Charlie Jr. Keymon and Gene Keymon.
