Jerry "Pookie" Casey

Jerry "Pookie" Casey was born in Savannah, Tennessee on January 10, 1966, the son of Betty Ross Casey and the late Henry Saint Casey. On July 3, 2003, he was united in marriage to Paula Conway, who survives.

He worked for Praxis in Clifton, Tennessee on the sprayer line. Jerry loved to fish, go horseback riding, playing pool, and corn hole. He enjoyed his cars and landscaping.

Jerry "Pookie" Casey departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the age of 50 years, 2 months, 21 days.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Casey of Clifton, Tennessee; children, Blake Casey of Clifton, Tennessee; Cecile Casey of Smyrna, Tennessee; Joshua Casey of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Zachery Casey of Louisville, Kentucky, Lanie Casey of Savannah, Tennessee, Shelby of Jackson, Tennessee, Katlyn of Savannah, Tennessee, Adrian Rouclette of Miami, Florida; mother, Betty Casey of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Asia Irons, Jacee Casey, Kobie Casey, Michael Lee Casey, Tayvion Casey, Keilyn White, Kamira Casey, and Javan Casey; brothers, Ben Casey and Ronnie Casey both of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Denise Casey, Mary Jo Weatherspoon, Ann Burns, Mariam Yarbro, and Sandra Price all of Savannah, Tennessee, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Lee Casey and Christopher Michael Casey.

Services will be held on April 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, Tennessee
