Mr. Ables worked for Ben Hobert and Ronnie Hosea in the sawmill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming, and drawing.
Jerry Ables departed this life on January 2, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 55 years, 5 months, and 30 days.
Jerry is survived by his son, Calvin Edward Ables of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Tammy Ann Todd of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Michael Hardin of Savannah, Tennessee, Frank Hardin of Kentucky, and Johnny Hardin of Savannah, Tennessee; girlfriend, Melissa Landrum Hatchett of Savannah, Tennessee; and step father, Hershel C. Hardin of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis and Cloye Ables and his aunt, Shirley Derevage.
