Jerome Kennamore, 64, of Middleton, died Saturday night, August 4, 2007 at his home.
He was the son of the late Clyde Jerome and Juanita Russell Kennamore and lived most of his life in the Middleton area. Retired from Dover Elevators after 25 years, in his early days, he served Middleton as a police officer. He enjoyed golf and had been president of the Middleton Girls' Softball League. He was a former chairman of the deacons and a deacon emeritus of the Middleton First Baptist Church, where he was a member. He also served as Treasurer and Sunday School chairman.
He leaves his wife, Frances Turner Kennamore of Middleton; one daughter, Dana Kennamore Knight and her husband, Bradley, of Ripley, Miss.; three sons, Master Chief Jeffery Jerome Kennamore and his wife, Amanda of Middleton, Keith Kennamore and his wife, Donna of Russellville, Ark., Mike Kennamore and his friend, Lena Baker of Middleton; one sister, Marcia Kennamore Bass and her husband, Ricky of Middleton; nine grandchildren, Christopher Jerome (C.J.), Joshua, Alana, Katie, Charleigh and Emmaleigh Kennamore, Brooke, Chelsea and Laken Knight.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Valeria Dickerson.
