Jennifer Lei Michael passed away peacefully on January 29, 2009 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT with her family by her side. She was 34 years old.
She is survived by her parents, Lt Col Stephen A. Michael (USAF Ret.) of Jurbise, Belgium and Nuit Nanudorn of Catonsville, MD and her stepmother, Kim Perino Michael of Jurbise, Belgium; her sister Jackie Hamilton of Catonsville, MD; her brother John Patrick Stewart and wife Jennifer, of Baltimore, MD; and nieces, Natalie, Emily, and Hailey Hamilton of Catonsville, MD. She also leaves to cherish her memory an uncle, Billy F. Michael of Paris, TN; her aunt Margaret Estelle Baxter of Clarksville, TN; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Henry and Kathleen Michael, her maternal grandmother Norm Thomeeboon, and her aunt Mozelle Hodges.
Jennifer was born at Fort Meade, MD on June 27, 1974 and was a graduate of Seaside High School, Seaside, CA (1992). She served honorably in the United States Air Force from January 1993 to December 1994 and was a 2002 graduate of Stevens Henager College, Ogden, UT.
In lieu of flowers and at Jennifer’s personal request, the family would prefer memorial donations in Jennifer’s name be sent to The Huntsman Cancer Institute in acknowledgement of their compassionate care of Jennifer during her illness.
