JEFF GORDON
Was born in Lewis County, Tennessee on January 10, 1959 the son of Carolyn Dedrick Gordon and the late L. G. Gordon.
On December 2, 1993 he was united in marriage to the former Tammy Davis, who survives.
Mr. Gordon worked for a towboat. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Clifton.
Mr. Gordon departed this life on January 2, 2006 at the Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 46 years, 11 months and 23 days.
Other than his wife, Tammy of Clifton, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 sons, J. Gordon, Jr. of Clifton, Tennessee and LCPL Talmadge Rainey of Camp Lejiune, North Carolina.
One daughter, Madalyn Nance of Clifton, Tennessee.
2 grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Nance
His mother, Carolyn Gordon of Savannah, Tennessee.
2 sisters, Brenda Wilson and Susan Barrier, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
One brother, Mike Gordon of Herndon, Virginia
