Jeff Anderson, 56, of Bolivar, passed from this life Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The son of Martha Clifft Anderson and the late Walter L. Anderson, he worked for 19 years as a custodian at the Hardeman County Court House. He was born Monday, September 27, 1965, in Memphis, living most of his life here, except for a short time in Memphis and Blytheville, AR. He was a people person, well known for his smile and how he greeted everyone. He loved to care for others and was always lighting up anyone's life that he encountered. Jeff was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Miami Dolphins and University of Tennessee football teams, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include two brothers, Bradley Clifft Anderson (Kristi) of Jackson and Wesley Shane Anderson (Ashley) of Rossville; and nieces and nephews, Whitney Anderson, Rachel Anderson, Stephen Anderson (Maria), Ashlin Anderson, Bailey Overby and Reece Overby. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Girlean Chandler Clifft and Robert Luther Clifft; and paternal grandparents, William Thomas Anderson and Clara Vaden Anderson.
