Jeanette Brison

Services for Jeanette Mathis Brison will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, March 20, 2009 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bill Donovan, Mat Jones, Wayne Parrish, Kyle Quillen, Jason Ray, and Doug Sanders.



Mrs. Brison departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center, in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 11 Months, 7 Days. She was born April 11, 1941 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late George Woodrow and Hazel Agnes Pope Mathis. In addition to her parents, Mrs Brison was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Mathis and a sister, Pamela Terry.



Mrs. Brison was owner, with her husband, of Mathis Hardware for 27 years . She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro, a member of Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, Civitan Club, and American Legion Aux.



Survivors include, her husband, Perlis B. Brison Jr. of Waynesboro, TN;

daughters, Sonya (Brison) Quillen and husband, Terry of Waynesboro, TN, Belinda (Brison) Howell and husband, Darrell of Old Hickory, TN; grandchildren; Brent Quillen and Alayne and Parker Howell; brothers, Gerald Mathis and Benny Mathis, both of Waynesboro, TN; sister, Joyce Jones of Edmond, Ok; several nieces and nephews.
