Mrs. Brady passed away Tuesday afternoon at her home.
The widow of Jack Richard Brady, who died on September 15, 2009, she was a substitute postal carrier, had worked at WMHI and was also a library assistant at Middleton Elementary. She was born August 13, 1932, in Memphis, daughter of the late Edgar and Marguerite Clements Rumley and lived here for 36 years. She was a 1950 graduate of East High School in Memphis and enjoyed flower gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting and growing and managing hydroponic vegetables. Mrs. Brady was a member of Oak Grove Independent Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Gary and Mona Brady of Middleton, Ken and Lee Anne Brady of Bartlett and Tom Brady of Middleton; eight grandchildren, Desmond, Matt, Sara, Ben, Lauren, Richard, Carol and Clayton Brady; and eight great grandchildren, Anna Alyce, Jonah, Jude, Jenna, Avery, Keira, Isaac and Parker.
