Jean Weeks
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on June 1, 1939 the daughter of the late Earl and Fannie Mae Wilkerson Melson.
On October 31, 1961 she was united in marriage to Troy Lee Weeks, who preceded his wife in death on December 23, 2012.
Jean worked for over 30 years as a cook for the Hardin County Board of Education. She had also worked for 15 years at Clifton Manufacturing Company. Jean attended Love and Truth Church. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and craft painting. Jean was a very devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She departed this life on Sunday, July 4, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 83 years, 1 month, and 3 days.
Jean is survived by her two sons, Jeff Weeks and Greg Weeks, both of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Chris Weeks and his wife Amy, Jessica Williams and her husband Josh, and Kaylee White and her husband Chucky; and great grandchildren, Laken Lampher, Kynslee Lampher, Cannon Ray, Conner Williams, Caden Williams, and Mia Williams.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Earline Pitts.
