Jean S. Rich was born in Dyess, Arkansas on December 5, 1937 the daughter of the late Melvin L. and Ina Harris Standrod.She was united in marriage to H.C. (Cubby) Rich, who preceded her in death on June 13, 1977. Mrs. Rich was employed at Wal-Mart in Savannah, where she worked as a customer service manager for 16 years. She was also the former owner of Mon-E-Saver and Rich's Wholesale. Mrs. Rich was a member of the First United Methodist Church and loved gardening.She departed this life on May 25, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 20 days.Mrs. Rich is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Rich Turner and her husband, John, of Munford, Tennessee; two sons: Myles Stiedle and his wife, Crystal, of Colonial Heights, Virginia and Bradley Rich and his wife, Debbie, of Corpus Christi, Texas;three grandchildren: Katlyn Stiedle, Daniel Turner and Lily Turner;four sisters: Melva Holsberg of Eutawville, South Carolina,Evelyn Foster of Nashville, Tennessee and Billie Ray and Becky Fleming, both of West Memphis, Arkansas;and two brothers: John Standrod of Noxapater, Mississippi and Terry Standrod of Hephzibah, Georgia.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Standrod.
