Jean Evans Harris

Jean Evans Harris was born February 21, 1944 in Lexington, KY, the daughter of the late Briscoe Evans and Ruth Wood Evans.

She was a Vice President of Mercer Capital in Memphis, TN serving as a Certified Financial Analyst for many years. She also taught at the University of Memphis as an Adjunct Professor. Jean enjoyed playing Bridge, reading, gardening and she always cherished the times she got to spend with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris departed this life on April 16, 2022 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 1 Month, 26 Days.

She is survived by her children, Brian Harris and wife Kristi of Selmer, TN and Alison Heigel and husband Josh of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren: Elaina Harris, Lydia Harris, Joseph Heigel, Hudson Heigel, Brooklyn Heigel; three sisters: Rose Evans Watkins and husband Bob Peach, Mary James Evans, Elizabeth Evans Kolmer and husband J. R.; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
