Jean L. DeShazier

JEAN L. DESHAZIERwas born in Clarksdale, Mississippi on October 29, 1933 the daughter of the late John and Loara Moore Barrett.On August 30, 1952 she was united in marriage to R. H. DeShazier, who survives.Mrs. DeShazier was a retired sewing machine operator for Garan Manufacturing. She was Baptist in belief. Mrs. DeShazier enjoyed gardening and sewing at home.She departed this life on September 8, 2008 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 10 days.Other than her husband R. H. of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by one son, Walker Lynn DeShazier and his wife Sandra of Savannah, Tennessee.3 grandchildren, Richard Lynn DeShazier, Melissa Beckham and Jerry DeShazier and 5 great-grandchildren3 sisters, Rita Hollins of San Antonio, Texas, Myrtle Montgomery of Pontotoc, Mississippi and Ireane McDuffy of Detroit, MichiganMrs. DeShazier was also preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Watts and one brother, J. B. Barrett.
